A new year, a new chapter. With peace, clarity, and quiet growth, we look forward to sharing the milestones ahead — including the anticipated opening of The Tang Chang Private Museum in early May.
The Tang Chang Private Museum website is under development. Updates on exhibitions, publications, and related materials will be available soon.
Following the passing of Tang Chang in 1990, the Tang Chang Private Museum emerged in the early 1990s from an effort to organize, archive, and preserve materials related to Tang Chang’s artistic legacy. From the outset, the museum was conceived not only as an exhibition space, but as a long-term archival and research endeavor. Its holdings extend beyond artworks to include writings, publications, correspondence, and other contextual records considered essential to future research.
The Tang Chang Private Museum is scheduled to officially open to the public in early May 2026.
This website, launched in January 2026, serves as the museum’s official digital platform. It reflects the museum’s archive- and research-oriented approach by providing access to information on exhibitions, research activities, archival materials, publications, and ongoing projects, while also functioning as a digital record of the museum’s activities and a channel for public engagement.
Subscribers receive access to published content and institutional updates. Subscriptions support the museum’s work in research, preservation, and knowledge dissemination.
